Enquiries
The public form asks for a name and a phone or WhatsApp number. Email, wedding date, city, guest count, interests, and a message are optional. My Wed Story also stores the page you opened, campaign parameters that were already in that link, and a one-way hash of the network address so repeated automated submissions can be limited. That hash is not shown to other visitors. A repeated click with the same submission does not create a second lead. A later, genuine enquiry from the same person can.
Wedding and guest data
After My Wed Story agrees to run a wedding, the workspace can hold the plan, family roles, guest households, contact details, invitation status, and files the wedding team uploads. Guest lists are managed by the wedding team. The public website does not offer guests a form to submit their own attendance response.
Photographs and face search
Private galleries stay behind the wedding's own access controls. When a guest searches with a selfie, My Wed Story uses that image to look for similar faces. The temporary selfie file is deleted after the search, including when the search does not succeed. If that deletion fails, the failure is written to the server log. This page does not claim the file is guaranteed to disappear in every failure. If photo alerts are turned on, a face reference can be kept until those alerts are turned off. The original selfie is not what that reference is. Face search is an optional Memories capability, and a match is a guide rather than a guaranteed identification.
Analytics and retention
The public website does not currently load a third-party analytics tracker. A formal retention schedule has not been set. Wedding records stay for the life of the workspace unless the wedding owner and My Wed Story agree otherwise. That sentence is a description of the current product, not a legal retention promise.
